About Our Golf Course
According to the Guinness Book of Records, Mossel Bay has one of the mildest climates in the world, all year round. Situated 30 km from Mossel Bay is Boggoms Bay Golf Course, which is a 9-hole 18 tee golf course. In our area, there are some of South Africa’s best golf courses.
At Boggoms Bay Golf Course, the use of oil sand greens has allowed for a more sustainable approach to golf course maintenance. The course is located in a semi-arid region where water resources are limited, so the use of oil sand greens helps to conserve water while still providing a high-quality putting surface. Additionally, the oil sand greens are more resistant to the harsh coastal conditions, such as salt spray and wind, which can damage traditional grass greens.
We do not have caddies or golf carts, but you are welcome to bring your own. Contact the club for arrangements.
Rule for the Greens: Please do not walk or leave your footprints on the pathways if you do “drag the print to death” with the provided implement close to green.
Club House
Our Boggomsbaai Golf Clubhouse is the perfect spot to relax before or after a round. We offer a cosy kitchen and halfway house, a function room for gatherings, and well-kept men’s and ladies’ restrooms.
The bar with its wooden deck overlooks the scenic 7th hole – a favourite place for players to share a drink, swap stories, and soak up the view.
If you’re after a laugh, don’t miss our in-house section, where we capture the pub’s best “urban legends” over the years.
